Affiliate disclosure

BetGuide may earn a commission when you open an account with a bookmaker through some of our links. Here is how that works and how we keep it separate from our content.

How we earn money

BetGuide is free to use. To pay for running the site, we:

  • take part in affiliate programmes: if you open an account with a bookmaker after clicking certain links on our site, the bookmaker may pay us a commission; and
  • show advertisements, which are always labelled "Advertisement".

You never pay more because you used our link.

  • "Visit" buttons for bookmakers go through a short link on our site (starting with /go/) so we can count clicks.
  • Where a commission may apply, we say so next to the link and on the bookmaker's review.
  • These links carry the "sponsored" and "nofollow" labels that tell search engines they are commercial.

Our rules

  • Commissions do not decide what we write about a bookmaker, which facts we include, or the order in which bookmakers appear.
  • We do not invent offers, ratings, testimonials or licence claims.
  • Bookmakers cannot pay to change our editorial content. Advertisements are kept visually separate.
  • Our guides would be just as useful with every advert and affiliate link removed.

What we record when you click

When you click a bookmaker link, we record the bookmaker, the page and the link position, a device type (mobile or desktop), and a short code that changes every day so we can ignore repeated clicks. We do not store your IP address or set tracking cookies. See our privacy policy.

Please bet responsibly

Opening a betting account is your decision. Only bet money you can afford to lose. You must be 18 or older. Read our responsible gambling page.
