Quick answer
If an EcoCash deposit has not appeared in your betting account, first check that the money actually left your wallet and save the confirmation SMS and transaction reference. Wait a short time for delays, then contact the bookmaker's official support with the reference, amount, time and your user ID. Do not keep repeating the deposit.

Step 1: Did the money actually leave your wallet?
Check your EcoCash balance and messages.
- No debit and no confirmation SMS: the payment probably did not go through. The bookmaker's page may have timed out, or you did not approve the request. You can try again.
- Money debited and you received a confirmation SMS: keep that SMS. It contains the transaction reference you will need.
Step 2: Check the betting account properly
- Refresh your balance or log out and in again.
- Open your deposit or transaction history in the betting account. A deposit may show as "pending".
- Make sure you are logged in to the right account. People with two numbers sometimes deposit to one account and check another.
Step 3: Give it a little time
Mobile money payments to bookmakers usually reflect within minutes, but network delays happen, particularly when the EcoCash system or the bookmaker's payment provider is busy or under maintenance. Wait a while before escalating, but do not wait days without reporting it.
Step 4: Contact the bookmaker's official support
Use the support channels listed on the bookmaker's official website or app. Send:
- Your betting account user ID or registered phone number
- The amount and the exact time of the payment
- The EcoCash transaction reference from the SMS
- A screenshot of the confirmation SMS and of your deposit history
The bookmaker can trace the payment with its payment provider and credit your account or arrange a reversal.
Step 5: If the bookmaker says it never received the money
Contact EcoCash customer care through the official channels published by Econet, with the same transaction reference. They can confirm where the money went.
Mistakes that make it worse
- Depositing again and again. If the first payment is only delayed, you may end up with several deposits you did not intend.
- Sending money to a person's number because a "support agent" on WhatsApp told you to. Genuine bookmaker deposits go through the bookmaker's own cashier, not to individuals.
- Sharing your EcoCash PIN or a one-time code. No genuine support agent needs it.
- Using someone else's wallet. The deposit may be rejected or blocked, and withdrawals back to that wallet may fail. Use a wallet in your own name.
Summary
Confirm the debit, save the reference, check your betting history, wait briefly, then contact official support with full details. Never repeat deposits blindly, and never share your PIN.
