Quick answer

On most betting sites, tap "Log in", then "Forgot password", enter the phone number or email on your account and follow the code or link the bookmaker sends. Set a new, unique password. Never give the reset code to anyone else.

The usual steps

Every bookmaker's screens are a little different, but the process is normally:

  1. Go to the bookmaker's official website or app and tap Log in.
  2. Tap Forgot password (sometimes "Forgotten password?" or "Reset password").
  3. Enter the phone number or email address registered on your account.
  4. The bookmaker sends a one-time code (OTP) by SMS, or a reset link by SMS or email.
  5. Enter the code or open the link, then choose a new password.
  6. Log in with the new password.

For example, Premier Bet Zimbabwe's own help page (checked October 2026) says you click "Forgotten Password?" after tapping "Join", enter your phone number, and receive a reset link.

  • Check the number or email you entered. It must match the one on the account exactly, including the +263 format if required.
  • Wait a minute or two. SMS delivery can be slow.
  • Check that your phone has network signal and enough storage for new messages.
  • Check your email spam folder if the reset is by email.
  • Do not request many codes in a row; some sites block repeated requests for a while.
  • If it still does not arrive, contact the bookmaker's official support. You may need to confirm your identity.

If you no longer have the phone number

If your registered number has been lost, swapped or recycled, you usually cannot reset the password yourself. Contact the bookmaker's support. Expect to be asked for identity documents that match your account details. This protects you, because otherwise anyone could take over your account.

Choosing a safe password

  • Use a password you do not use anywhere else, especially not your EcoCash or email PIN.
  • Make it long: a short phrase of several words is easier to remember and harder to guess.
  • Do not use your phone number, birthday or name.

If someone else changed your password

If you receive a reset code you did not request, or you cannot log in and suspect someone else has, contact the bookmaker's support immediately and ask them to secure the account. Also check your mobile money wallet and change its PIN if you shared it anywhere.

Summary

Use "Forgot password" on the official site, enter the number or email on your account and follow the code or link. Keep the code to yourself, choose a unique password, and contact official support if anything looks wrong.
